Membership

Membership in the Jewish Genealogical Society of British Columbia is open to all, regardless of religious affiliation or belief. Our members range from those who’ve just started tracing their family background to long-time researchers with expertise in searching BC, Canadian, American and world-wide genealogical resources.

Subscriptions (per year – September to September)

  • Individuals: $30
  • Families (two or more persons in the same household): $45.
  • For those living outside Metro Vancouver* (> 1 hr drive) : $15.
    *For administrative purposes Metro Vancouver includes the Point Roberts (US) peninsula.

Membership benefits include:

  • Monthly meetings (1st Wednesday of every month, September to June, inclusive). During the pandemic, online Zoom meetings will replace in-person meetings.
  • Access to our googlegroup where members can get help and advice and share their research. This would be the route by which our out-of-town members could keep in touch and be involved in our research projects.
